Tuesday Tunes: Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City

Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City, dropped yesterday and we've had it on repeat ever since.  Huge fans of his previous album, Section. 80, we were hoping for another record that we could listen to from start to finish and this album delivers just that. Our personal favorite song is none other than "The Recipe" in which Kendrick reminds us just why we love this city so much. 3 Ws.

Last Wednesday Kendrick played two back to back shows and we were lucky enough to attend the 11 pm show. Although Kendrick waited about 40 minutes before playing a hit, he made up for it with cameos by Game, Big Sean, and none other than Dre himself - well played. (How come no matter how many times we've seen Dre live, each time is just as exciting as the first?) Despite the fact that it was his second show of the evening, Kendrick still brought the energy and put on a great show. At the young age of 23, we think there's much more to come from the LA native.
