Last night, some very lucky people saw one of our favorite bands perform to a sold out audience at the Fonda Theatre. Earlier that afternoon, some even luckier people were invited to watch them perform to an intimate audience of 150 people at the Hollywood Tower Penthouse. If you haven't figured it out yet, we are talking about The XX. That's right, they are back!
We were a little nervous about how they could follow their first album which was nothing less than perfect. However, after hearing Angels, the first single from their sophomore album Coexist (set to be released in September), our fears are gone. Take a listen and let us know what you think.
Loving Angels and bummed you missed both shows yesterday? Hopefully you got tickets to the show at the Palladium on 10/12 or at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on 10/13. No? Well, they'll be touring nationally, and Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco happen to be a few of their stops. Road trip anyone?
